Ring credit card adapter is designed for mobile professionals
to connect laptops and notebooks to Token Ring networks effortlessly.
Using the latest available technology, users simply insert the
Racore Token Ring credit card adapter into any Type II or Type
III slot and select the appropriate driver for their LAN environment.
Compatible with all portable
computers that comply with the Personal Computer Memory Card
International Association (PCMCIA) Release 2.X standards, the
Racore Token Ring credit card adapter is the ideal solution for
professionals on the move who want high
performance, true compatibility and ease of use.
All the Right Features
With a 16-bit bus, the Racore Token Ring credit card adapter
is IEEE 802.2 and 802.5 compliant. The adapter supports connection
to Type 1 STP shielded twisted pair cabling and Type 3 UTP unshielded
twisted pair cabling.
Utilizing the onboard processor of the Texas Instruments TI380C25 chipset, Racore Token Ring credit card adapters can be compatibly intermixed with currently installed IBM or other vendor 802.5 and 802.2 compliant Token Ring adapters.
Racore Token Ring credit card adapters are compatible with software packages such as IBM PC Network Program or the Advanced Program to Program Communications (APPC) package.
